On January 18, 2017 Hawaiian Airlines will begin to provide four daily flights between Honolulu and Kapalua. Tickets are on sale now for the air carrier’s ‘Ohana by Hawaiian subsidiary that will fly the 48 seat ATR-42 turboprop aircraft to and from West Maui’s regional Kapalua Airport. Hawaiian Airlines will also add a pair of ‘Ohana by Hawaiian daily flights between Maui’s larger Kahului Airport and Kapalua.
Hawaiian Airlines built the Kapalua Airport and operated flight there from 1987 to 1993 before selling the airstrip and terminal to the state of Hawaii.
