Jimmy Walker has a warm and friendly smile, an engaging personality, and generally a very calming disposition that makes you want to be around him. On the inside, he is one tough dude. And he just might be the best American golfer that we have today. His resilience is amazing.

Last Monday night, after Jimmy squandered a three stroke lead with five holes to play and finished second at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions, I posted some thoughts about how bad I thought Jimmy must have been feeling. But at the end, I said that he would bounce back and maybe even win at Sony this week….which is exactly what Jimmy did…by a whopping 9 strokes!

Congratulations Jimmy!  Now that’s the way to quickly book a return trip to Kapalua next January!
